Glendale Heights has many activities for its residents such as our annual Glendale Heights fest where a bunch of other people from other suburbs come together and have fun at this wonderful carnival. Not just that, Glendale Heights focuses greatly on the diversity amongst its people. Recently we had a Butterfly Fest, all Hispanic and non Hispanic people would come by, dance, and eat traditional foods. However, Glendale Heights has some imperfections. Recently in the Middle school, “Glenside Midlde School” had a major bullying issue that spread not only within that school but around many other high schools and etc. Further more, harassing a child for the mistakes he’s done causing him to move away. Another issue Glendale Heights has is the constant construction work on the streets and is never finished, not only leaving drivers to drive in a semi-unsafe area but, preventing others from going on something simple as a walk or bike ride.

When i was looking for place to live i was looking for safe, and quiet neighborhoods. I like Glendale Heights because is nice and quiet in the part I live. I don't know all of it. Between Carol Stream, Bloomingdale and Glendale Heights i found everything what I need like stores, restaurants and movie theater.

Honestly my best memories with this town were from when I was younger, after school programs, everyone rode their bikes EVERYWHERE, being outside 24/7 was the norm, Ethnic parties where everyone was invited, the annual carnival, and the sports hub athletic center were all very fun. However beyond that the town is very bland and nowadays I find myself in other towns more than the one I grew up in.
